Voluma

Voluma is part of the ‘Juvederm’ family of 3D fillers; however there are some important differences. Like Juvederma, Voluma is a hyaluronic acid based injectable filler that is used to restore facial volume. However, Voluma is not a dermal filler, instead it is injected into the deeper subcutis layers and fat pads of the skin, making it ideal for deeper wrinkles and for augmentation of larger areas of the face.

Voluma is a very specialised treatment, requiring an extensive knowledge of the facial anatomy to ensure safe administration with excellent results. Therefore Voluma is currently only performed by a limited number of doctors in the UK.

Voluma is particularly amenable to cheek enhancement, it has a plumping effect on sagging skin, achieving a youthful appearance.
